I have always had a rule that the only cakes I would show on my web site would be cakes I made and though I would like to think that I had a hand in the making if this Minion cake the truth is I did not make it.
My niece made this at a mini cake making class I did with my three sisters, nieces and my youngest daughter that is a mini cake making class, not a Minion cake making class :-).
At the time we were working on the basics, such as cake shaping and covering in sugar paste (cold fondant or ready to roll icing).
This cake started off going to be a bus and evolved into what you see above.
I love it!
This is the first novelty cake my niece made, so I think you will agree it is very impressive.
